INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
All of our peer counseling volunteers are just that, volunteers. We are not professional counselors but we have gone through this extensive training. This is a wonderful opportunity if you’re looking for a new way to serve the Lord and have a passion for serving women or are interested in ministry to couples.
The Basic Peer Counseling training will equip you to share your life experience with another woman who is going through your same life experiences. This class is the main training for our peer counseling volunteers. In addition to Basic Peer Counseling Training our counseling volunteers are required to complete a minimum of 8 hours of advanced training annually.
The Rapha Center for Women’s Ministries, Inc. volunteers are the hands and feet of the ministry. Volunteers have to opportunity to help out in the office, pray, minister one-to-one with other women, lead Bible Studies, lead support groups, and help raise awareness about the mission of the Center for Women’s Ministries in the local community. If God has made a change in your life, you can help be a change agent in the life of another woman. Our motto is “We’ve been where you are.” We need women who have been where you have been and overcome through the transforming power of Christ.
